When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. We also collect usage data such as du'a completion progress, dhikr sessions, and prayer time preferences to provide a personalized experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service, track your spiritual progress, send relevant notifications (such as prayer time alerts), and communicate important updates about the Service.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). Local preferences and progress data may also be stored in your browser's local storage for offline access. Du'a journal entries and dhikr sessions are stored locally on your device.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your spiritual data (du'a journal, dhikr history, progress) is private and belongs to you.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage to save your preferences, progress, and session data. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly sync your account.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data or request account deletion by contacting us. Clearing your browser data will remove locally stored information.
7. Feedback & Consent
When you submit feedback, you may optionally consent to having your feedback displayed on our website or shared on social media. This consent is opt-out by default (disabled). You can change your consent preferences at any time by contacting support@ruhanios.app.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytical purposes.
